LifeWell S20 on a garage shelf beside neatly stacked emergency supplies

Preparedness

Stored water is finite. This keeps making more, while the power holds

A complement to your stored water, not a replacement for it. Given electricity and humid air, the S20 produces day after day instead of counting down.

Water for a life well lived

Be clear about what this does and does not do.

A gallon per person per day is the standard planning figure, and it adds up to a pallet fast: heavy, space-hungry, and needing rotation that everyone forgets. The S20 does not remove the need for stored water. It needs electrical power and air above 5°C and 35% relative humidity to make anything at all. What it does is turn a finite reserve into a replenishing one for as long as you can power it, and earn its shelf space every ordinary day in between.

Why it works here

What you actually get

Runs on the power you already store

245 W rated total, 230 W producing, with no startup surge to design around. That is within reach of a mid-size portable power station, a solar setup or a generator you would already run for a freezer. With no power at all it produces nothing, which is exactly why stored water stays in the plan.

Nothing to date, rotate or throw out

No expiry stickers, no six-month rotation reminder, no cases to carry out to the recycling. It is an appliance you use daily, so it is already running and already familiar when a boil notice or an outage window arrives.

Treats water you pour in, too

When the air is too cold or dry to condense, fill the tank manually and the same PAC, ultrafiltration and carbon block stages plus UVC treatment in the tank run on that water. Your stored supply gets filtered and UV-treated on the way to the glass.
