Water for a life well lived
Hauling means a truck run and 8 lb per gallon in the bed. A well means a pump, a pressure tank, and a lab test you keep meaning to send off. Rain catchment means roof debris and a dry spell you can't argue with. The S20 doesn't replace any of them; it adds a source with a different failure mode, because it runs on humidity and electricity instead of geology and rainfall.
Why it works here
245 W rated total, 230 W producing. That is refrigerator territory, not well-pump territory: it never asks for a surge, so a modest inverter carries it, and once the tank is full it stops drawing production power. Run it in the sunny middle of the day and the panels do the work.
The up to 2.6 gallons/day (10 L) rating is measured at 86°F (30°C) and 80% relative humidity. A humid summer at the cabin beats that room, a cold dry January does not, and below 41°F (5°C) or 35% RH it stops producing. The panel shows live temperature and humidity so you know what today's air will give you before you plan around it.
Cartridges swap by hand in a few minutes, no tools and no service call. The panel raises a filter indicator ahead of time so you order a set on the next town run instead of discovering it at the wrong moment. When the air is too dry, fill the tank manually and the same PAC, UF, carbon block and UVC treatment runs on that water.
