The marina hose is whatever the marina's plumbing is that week. Tank water starts fine and ends tasting like the tank. Jerry cans and cases of plastic go in the bilge and shift when you heel. A watermaker solves it for thousands of dollars, a thru-hull, a high-pressure pump and membranes you pickle every time you lay up. The S20 sits on the counter, plugs in, and makes its own supply from air you already have plenty of.

Output tracks moisture in the air, and coastal and offshore air runs high. The up to 2.6 gallons/day (10 L) rating is measured at 86°F (30°C) and 80% RH, conditions a summer anchorage hits routinely. The panel shows the temperature and humidity it is actually working with.
