How to Replace A10 AWG Filters and Reset the Filter Indicator

Before replacing your A10 AWG filters

2. Open the top cover. The three screw-in filter bottles are grouped in one bay beneath it.

8. Close the cover and reconnect power. Once the physical replacement is complete, reset the water-filter indicator.

How to reset the water-filter indicator

After installing the new PAC, UF and carbon block filters, locate the water-filter reset button. Press and hold that button for two seconds, then release it.

Check the display to confirm that the water-filter indicator has reset. If it remains lit, verify that you held the water-filter reset button—not another control—for the full two seconds. Try the reset once more after confirming that all three replacement bottles are installed. If the indicator still does not reset on a LifeWell S20, contact support rather than repeatedly removing the filters.

Reset the indicator after the physical filter change. Resetting it without replacing filters does not complete the required six-month maintenance.

Common replacement mistakes to avoid

Mixing up the three stages

PAC, ultrafiltration and carbon block are distinct stages. Note the installed positions and replace each bottle with its matching new filter rather than assuming the positions.

Changing only the filter associated with the light

The water-filter indicator is the signal to replace the water-filter set. The set includes all three screw-in water stages, so replace the PAC, UF and carbon block bottles together.

Confusing the air filter with the water-filter set
