When the indicator lights before six months

The indicator provides an additional replacement trigger. If the water-filter indicator lights before the six-month date, replace the PAC, ultrafiltration and carbon block cartridges at that point rather than waiting for the calendar interval.

After installing the replacement set, hold the water-filter reset button for two seconds. This reset step belongs after replacement; resetting the indicator is not a substitute for changing the cartridges.

It helps to record the installation date when a new set goes in. A simple calendar reminder for six months later makes the time-based interval easier to track, while the machine’s indicator remains the earlier trigger if it lights first. The six-month subscription option follows the same interval and may simplify reordering, but it does not change the indicator-based instruction.

Why operating conditions do not change the stated schedule

The S20 is rated to produce up to 2.6 gallons (10 L) per day at 86°F (30°C) and 80% relative humidity. Atmospheric water generator output depends on air humidity and temperature and falls in dry or cold air. Its stated operating range is 41–90°F (5–32°C) and 35–90% relative humidity.

Those conditions can affect how much water the machine generates, but no separate filter interval is specified for lower output, higher output or different humidity levels. Follow the stated rule: replace the three water cartridges every six months or when the indicator lights.
